October 2025 Asthma Friendly School
On Monday 27th October Beacon Academy were awarded the 'Asthma Friendly School' award which shows our education to supporting pupils with medical conditions. The award lasts for 2 years.
October 2025 Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA)
On Monday 29th October 2025 Beacon Academy were re-accredited and have another 3 years holding the LPPA award. We are very proud of the work we do with our families and the community to ensure all pupils have an enjoyable and safe education where they can reach their full potential.
June 2025 Financial education
Beacon was awarded 'centre of Excellence in Financial Education'. This award lasts for 3 years.
June 2024 IQM Centre of Excellence Award
IQM is the only national inclusion award in the UK. For over 20 years and in over 20 countries, schools, MATs and Local Authorities use the Inclusion Quality Mark to recognise exemplary inclusive practice.

April 2023 Safeguarding
Beacon were awarded 'Leaders in Safeguarding' showing our commitment to ensure ALL children are safe in school. We are very proud to hold this award.
20th May 2022 Leading Parent Partnership Award
Beacon has been awarded the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA) award for 3 years.
As a school we are extremely proud of this award. Parent partnerships are fundamental in supporting children and building a solid foundation for learning. At Beacon we value parents and always try to improve and build relationship to ensure children are happy during their time in school.
